Manual Handling
More than 30% of all injuries in the workplace are a result of manual handling tasks and these injuries are a primary cause of work disability.
This Manual Handling course aims to provide participants with information & instruction on safe manual handling techniques which, if used correctly, may help prevent a back injury. The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 says that employers are responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of their employees.
Our instructors are experienced trainers and are fully compliant with the latest QQI Level 6 Instructor requirements.

Who Should Attend
Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, is a legal requirement for ALL staff involved in manual handling operations to be trained in Manual Handling.
Certification & Assessment
To receive certification for manual handling, all learners must successfully complete both the theory 50% & practical 50% components of the course.
A certificate From Endrim Safety Training will be valid for 3 years from date of issue.
